Sometimes you just can't accept that some one is really gone, fortunately, you were not. I would welcome you back, but, that isn't necessary.... in your heart, you never left.

Cathie,
It sounds like you needed to do exactly what you did . . . step back just a bit and consider, reflect, see what emotions arise, etc, etc. I often find a process like that to be helpful when faced with something in which I have a significant investment. And you certainly have such an investment in this board . . . and hopefully will for the foreseeable future. rafi |

I am so glad you have decided to stay with us Cathie for as cycleops said I don’t consider that you ever left us. You will know from my PM how much I for one need you and those like you. Your compassion and understanding in the face of your own severe problems are a help to so many here. So let me finally say – it’s was lovely to read your posting and I shall continue to look out for future ones as before.

to see you posting again, Cathie.
Posts that appear that say "I am leaving" always upset me. It appears from the responses here that others feel similarly. It is sort of like a "rejection". I believe people should post when and where they want to or are able. I think we all understand that chronic illness creates absences for treatment or for recuperation, or for whatever other reason.

Hooray you're back! Besides, I'd love to hear more about Yorkies! I would like to get a small dog. What is Yorkie short for?
