Thanks so much for the article. I've been convinced from the get-go that my PN has a physical cause (nerve damage, spinal stenosis, scoliosis, blah blah blah) and all I ever get it "not possible" with the "look" that says "you're cuckoo." All this because it's "idiopathic" - which I claim is doctorese for "the pathetic idiots have no clue about the cause." So - very nice to see someone in the medical profession say that underlying causes COULD be mechanical. Sigh.

one would think a mechanical causation would be high up on the PN checklist.
i like your definition of "idiopathic.". a great catchall for not having a clue. |
