Default Folic Acid

OK. I'm new. So, sorry if I posted this in the wrong place or if it is redundant. I tried to avoid that by using the search engine.

What would be a good starter dose for folic acid? Purpose of taking it would be to following the recommendations in the book I cited previously.

I know someone posted that the 5mg dose the book recommends is fine (I think I read that?!). I'm under a ton of stress right now and I am not processing things very well. Hence my 'need' to over-communicate. So, 5mg of folic acid would be fine for me to start with? And get the 'meth' kind? Again, sorry for any reduncies my mind has been mush lately. Hopefully getting the B's, Vit. E and Folic will help with that.

Thank you.

Lightbulb

If you get the MetaFolin(methyl folate)
You only need to start at 800mcg.

People low on b12 often are high in folate.

If you are showing signs of anemia in
your blood work, then you might need
More.
