Hi Gang, When I point up at a cloud in the sky with my left arm, my thumb shocks me. Almost feels like I am stretching a nerve. I have been wondering if I should steer clear of pointing. I know the patient told the old country Dr. that it hurts when I do this and the Dr. said"Don't do that". Any thoughts greatly appreciated. Ken in Texas.

Sounds to me like rotator cuff impingement.
Common as we age. Steer clear of aggravating it, but see your doctor. Doc
