Default Tests for neuropathy causes?

Hello wise ones,

Are there anymore tests that you know of that might find the cause of a reversible neuropathy?

I have had:
Diabetes, kindney function, liver function, thyroid, heavy metals, lyme and vitamins. I am being told that is it?

Any ideas?

THank you.

There are antibody tests for gammonopathies.

Here is a very long list one doctor, Dr. Latov uses:

http://www.questdiagnostics.com/test...ripheralNeurop

You need the actual B12 test numbers if you had that test, because ranges go down below the new acceptable norm of 400pg/ml. So your doctor may say "normal" when in fact it is quite low and NOT.

Would you consider contacting me?
I really need to talk to someone.
I do not know how to contact directly.

Your private messages should be open by now. You can PM me
for privacy.

PN is very complex, and everyone who comes here has a history of previous drug exposures, toxins, vaccines, secondary diseases like diabetes and thyroid problems, and genetic potential for PN.

So it can be very complex to figure it all out and decide what to do, if anything. Sometimes you can support your nutrition, change diet, remove exposures to food intolerances, etc and help healing. But sometimes that won't work, if you have severe autoimmune antibodies or have genetic CMT DNA mutations.

Default For about as comprehensive a listing of tests--

--for neurological symptoms as the best minds here and elsewhere could think to put together, I recommend perusing the Liza Jane spreadsheets:

www.lizajane.org

These are not only designed for investigation into peripheral neuropathies, but into other possible neurological conditions that may mimic the symptoms, from neuromuscular disorders, to spinal problems, to central nervous system conditions such as stroke or multiple sclerosis.

Hmmm.... To quote a popular line from Eraser, "THAT, I didn't know."

Quote:
John {Arnold Schwarzenegger}: A major defense contractor is selling to terrorists on the black market.

[Tony and his whole crew start laughing]

Tony Two Toes: Mr. Sixty Minutes, tell me something I don't know.

John: It's happening tonight, on your docks.

Tony Two Toes: [stops laughing] *That* I didn't know.

Default Yes--

--when we were putting this together, we wanted it to be as comprehensive as possible, inasmuch as many symptoms of peripheral neuropathy could be mimicked exactly by conditions of the central nervous system or other situations (such as electrolyte imbalance).
