Default Intermittent stocky and glove feeling

Hello,
I intermittently have the stocking and glove as well as burning over various parts of my body.
Does this sound familiar to anyone?
TIA

I have pins and needles in many areas of body. Sometimes my feet feel like they are wearing bedroom slippers when in fact they are bare. I have been to many doctors and they haven't been able to come up with much of anything

I am borderline diabetic, but I can't imagine this could cause as widespread nerve pain that I have.

One doctor did a pin test and my big toe was numb.

I had the stocking glove feeling a lot when I first got neuropathy. I don't have it as often anymore. Mostly when I'm in a flare up.
I believe it is very common in neuropathy. When I first had it I was trying to explain it to my neuro and told him I felt like I had pants on when I didn't. Haha!!

My neurologist told me that PN can show up years before someone is actually diagnosed with diabetes. My husband is type II diabetic and I am the one with the PN Go Figure?? I hope he does not develop this. When he was diagnosed many yrs ago, I would preach at him about PN and losing wt. Then it came to bite me and I am not diabetic. He is exercising now which is good while my body and health get worse.

I too was always very healthy. Exercised and ate healthy. I preached to my husband because he is such a bad eater. He never use to exercise.

My sisters are all smokers, as was my husband. They never exercised or worried about what they ate. My sisters use to always tease me that I would be the one who got sick because I was so health conscious.

Turns out they were right. Go figure?
