Four months of tingling, burning, and some numbness.
I started with generic neurontin-up to 1800mg/day. Burning pains started. Now with Lyrica 300mg day (150 in morning and 150 in evening). If I don't take it on time I can't sleep AT ALL or take a nap during the day as my body becomes an electrically charged body ![]() I am doing yoga a few times a week and walking in 85' water a few times a week. I soak in epsoms salts 5 times a week. The Morton lotion has not worked for me and I have tried it dozens of times. I have a loving and supportive husband and had a charmed life before. Besides the Lyrica, I take daily: Multivitamin R Lipoic Acid 200mg Vitamin D 5000 IU Benfotiamine 300mg NAC 1200mg B12 10,000mcg Magnesium glycinate powder 1000mg I have gone gluten free, no sugar, lots of water. I meditate and have a couple of people that will listen about my pain, but dwindling due to lack of understanding and situation fatigue. I am trying to become perfectly healthy but the symptoms continue to progress with a few days here and there a little better but unable to make connection with my behavior. I did have excellent health prior to two surgeries, truncal pain, esophageal tear, and now the tingling, burning, and some numbness. Any suggestions are kindly appreciated. I NEVER took routine medications before this. I would like to stop the anticonvulsant, but it does help some and allows for 4-6 hours of sleep versus no REM and being awakened over and over again. Again, any suggestions, old wise ones...no expectations from my end. TIA ![]() |
