Default Another night of burning hell

😭😪😥
Now down to 300mg of gabapentin a day, and my hands and feet are on fire, I am so tired I feel sick but this pain won't let me sleep 😥

My wife had to come off Celebrex because of soaring indicators for kidneys. She has become more symptomatic. Sometimes the choices are not good. If it helps you, think that there is one less poison that you are eating. You cannot stay alive if your liver fails and dialysis would be terrible. I searched your old posts and so I hope this is not redundant. I use Mortons Epsom Salt lotion before I go to bed for the burning and tenderness on my feet. Also I take Zolpidem (generic Ambien) about 30 min before bedtime. Yes, it's another pill and yes, I have a relationship with it. Sleep, however is escape from the pain and necessary for mind and body. I wish you better choices and hope you find a path that is tolerable yet not harming your vital organs. Ken in Texas.

Thank you for your replies, my GP wouldnt prescribe sleeping tablets at my last appointment, I have noticed through keeping a pain diary that my pain is definitely worse depending on where I am in my menstrual cycle, the lack of any pain management has just meant it's way out of control.
I have the first of my lignocaine infusions in a week which wil hopefuly help, but I need a long term plan, my neuro has said he doesn't want to see me until April, he I think has just given up looking at causes/ treatments.
I do feel like I have been left to get on with it.
I have tried going gluten free on week 2 now but that hasn't helped at all, pain is worse not better lol, so not sure how long to carry on with it really.
Tried the epsom salt foot bath can't say I noticed much help from that and it's hard to bath hands and arms too. The cream is ridiculously expensive here £15 for a 2oz tube 😳
Back to see GP tomorrow for my latest blood test results.
