Default New Discovery in PN pain and Happy Thanksgiving!

They have found a possible new approach to PN pain, I don't know how many years it will be to get it to us, but it is a good Thanksgiving surprise!

Interesting article. It expands the research into acupuncture, which revealed recently how that works, by increasing adenosine also. I have a thread that links adenosine to its precusor, OTC d-ribose.

Ribose has been suggested to treat fibromyalgia pain too.

Adenosine is also the signalling molecule for initiating sleep.
It is part of ATP made in the mitochondria, and ADP, and AMP.

And yes, it will be several years coming I do agree.

The doctor that I used to go to, was always cutting edge, he put me on Ribose back in 2010, but at the time it made me feel hypoglycemic when I took it.
Interesting about the acupuncture, I will have to get my needles out and try it... I had a doctor show me how, and which points helped with PN pain.
Adenosine also protects the heart.
