Shocked I was kickin butt, then got my butt kicked!

Hi y'all!
I was kickin butt for a while there... then a few days ago, I guess this ole PN thought I was gettin' too big for my britches and decided it was time to bring me back to reality!

Two days ago started feeling the cement legs coming back on.. knew it was coming but thought maybe I could sneak by if I slept a few extra hours.
Didn't want the new boyfriend to see a full blown "episode" yet
Then yesterday, had some trouble walking to the kitchen, and NO appetite.. so told him to go ahead to dinner without me.

This morning I get to work o.k., and get up from my desk around 10:00, (after sitting for an hour and 1/2, and one foot feels as if there is a metal rod inside it, from the heel through the arch... don't bend it or it will break!) the other one is fine... at that time.

By lunch time, the other one is on fire and has broken glass cemented to it !
I have to walk to the cafeteria, two buildings away to get some soup... and oh, crap, today is the day I teach quilting class at lunch. So, I leave for the cafeteria 1/2 hour before class... get my lunch and get back in time for class. I sit down for class.... we are cutting fabric today and only have five students! No dragging the machine down the hall... yippee!

It's 4:00pm, boss has gone to his 2 hour staff meeting, and I am ready to leave for the day.
My body is aching all over... I feel I am about to lose control of my "intestines" again... so I have to get a head start to the bathroom soon. I am ready to go home, afraid to call in sick tomorrow because I'm out of sick days, now I have to use my vacation days.

Put in a call to the doctor asking for a scrip for "breakthrough" meds... ran out of those last time and forgot to get it re-filled.

This weekend is going to be a rough one. Hope I didn't have anything on the calendar that was important! Charge up the cell phone. Tell the kids they are on their own for meals... and tell the boyfriend all dates are off, I'm bed ridden for the next three days! No babysitting the granddaughter or sewing for me!
I can feel this is going to be a rough one. It hurts in my hands, prickly in my face, hearing is muffled, and even my thoughs are hard to complete today. I knew when I got in the elevator this morning that even though I was pushing the button to go "up", my body was quickly going "down" !
As I stepped off the elevator, I had trouble walking around the corner and staying upright.

Have a good weekend y'all... and I'll catch up on Monday!

Terri
