Default Pain in left hand...is it nerve problem??

HI All,
From last 10 days I have been suffering with pain in my left hand. After my work I went to bed and in the sleep it happened. I cant bend my elbow at all. I am able to bend just 5 to 10 degrees.I feel a nerve being stuck at my elbow. Also I feel numbness and irritation in my little finger and ring finger all the time. Is it because of cubital tunnel syndrome???, but I cant bend my elbow so i am doubting it. As i heard i can bend elbow in case of cuts.
Kindly suggest as im suffering from svere pain from last 1 week and I have Doctor appointment in 2 weeks.
Will this cause any serious problem??
Thank you very much doctors.
John.

Hi John,

Sorry for your problem, sounds painful! I don't think not being able to bend your elbow for another week plus sounds fun at all. Are you going to your GP or a specialist? Phys. Med might be able to help you with this. Also if you have a chiropractor you trust who's not a quack they might be able to do something as well. The ulnar nerve in the elbow is prone to injury and can slip out of it's tunnel and get stuck.

hang in there,
Littlepaw

John.
Mortons Epsom Salts Lotion on the back of that left hand maybe it will help you make it to the appointment, and a little more magnesium in your blood won't harm you. Good Luck, Ken in Texas.
