My burning is so terrible and came on so strong, that it made me feel absolutely crazy.
Hi Madisongrrl,

It would be good to hear outcomes of your tests. After the SFN tests, I am of the impression that there aren't many more for me worth pursuing and I will be left with symptoms to manage. I'm not happy to just accept that at this point as I feel that there has to be autoimmunity behind this. It would be good to hear what tests you end up having and how they all turn out. Good luck with them all. Its rubbish that this happens to anyone but its quite annoying to have this strike at age 34.
Tests so far for me are nerve conduction/muscle strength tests normal and MRI of back and neck (some degeneration due to AS but not believed to be connected). Awaiting SFN skin biopsy results and hope they actually show something.
Hope you are doing ok and have some help. Fortunately my mum is helping me with care of my son two days a week and his dad sees him regularly.
Just ordered my alha lipoic acid - hoping it helps.
