I know theres a very long thread on this - but I wanted to extend to all of you who were so supportive in making this possible for Billye a big thanks! The check is as they say "in the mail" - and it was a true pleasure chatting with all of you by PM, etc.... I feel like I know many of you much better - and your generosity is so much appreciated.....! We have a wonderful community of members here who truly care about each other - and I feel lucky to be part of it!

As Billye posted, she has orderd her system, and I'm sure will let us know when she gets it!!!!

My husband and I want to add our thanks to Kmeb's here. So many generous souls have contributed to this link-to- life for me by purchasing this laptop. And also our thanks to Kmeb and LJane for so much time and effort spent pursuing the 100 and one details that it took to create the way and means to accumulate the funds.

I don't even know where to begin in order to thank you all. The details of who/what/and where of where the funds actually came from, are not known to me. I have been able to glean in my own mind who a lot of the donor's are (from posts) but I will never know for sure. It's important to the privacy of this forum to keep the personal information anonomous. I don't even know for sure who all had a hand in the actual record keeping. But I have a good idea.

I thank you all from the bottom of my heart and wish I could put my arms around all of you to hug you and thank you.

And a special thanks for Kmeb. I can't put into words how special she is. I've been spending a lot of time emailing back and forth with her for sometime teaching her to make jewelry with words, pictures, websites that would help what I was trying to explain. She must have panicked when she thought her lessons had come to an end.

And Liza Jane, who pushed me and my poor husband over the line into admitting that yes, we could really use some help in purchasing this machine. She is so very special.

So many people I've never met on this forum who are very important in my life. Gosh..this sounds like one of the ridiculous Emmy award's acceptance speeches, doesn't it!! I've gone on enough. I think you all understand how very, very much you mean to me.

With all he complete idiots in this world, giving front page attention to Paris Hilton and even telling people her bathroom habits, well, it's nice to come to these boards and communicate with the NORMAL, NICE people of the world.

We may not be millionaires, or live in mansions, but we have CLASS!!!

And we are here for each other. I don't know where I'd be if I didn't come here and learn the stuff I've learned. I mean, I found Dr. Theirl, and methyl b-12 and all sorts of good stuff. And the stuff I learned about IVIG, well, that puts the learning curve right over the top.

So I just wanted to say "thank goodness for this forum".

Bearing in mind the multiple health problems kmeb has and the trying tests she has only just undergone at the same time as all the work she has done re Billye’s laptop I have to say kmeb that like Billye herself you are (as we Brits say) an absolute brick. to you both.
