Okay,
Each month or so just gets more interesting. So the last day or so, I have wet on myself (sorry for the graphic nature). I had to change clothes three times this morning. It just comes on and I don't even realize I have to go. Is this the SFSN? Will they now send me to a nephrologist (kidney doctor) first? TIA |

Well, baba, I do think you should see a doctor.
A sudden change in urinary continence can be due to spinal problems, one of which is called cauda equina syndrome which is considered an emergency. Also multiple sclerosis may cause incontinence. Gabapentin may cause urinary and/or fecal incontinence too. With that spinal thing you have that showed up on MRI, it might be a factor too. The PN may be a factor. There is a new drug out that strengthens the urethral sphincter, and it may help. It is called Myrbetriq. https://www.myrbetriq.com/overactive...A&gclsrc=aw.ds

So, no one batted an eye with the urine problem. They did tell me at my latest appointment that I have temperature issues and vibration loss, so there is autonomic problems too now.
Anyone out there with any suggestions. I am close to being bedridden with the pain. Upping lyrica and amitriptylline. Thanks for any reads. |

You need a new doctor if they didn't bat an eye to sudden urine incontinence. This can be sign of serious conditions. Please go to the ER or find another doctor.
