Mel,
You can come to our house and cook till your hearts content! LOL
I used to enjoy cooking......but not anymore......wish I did.
We take care of my husband's Grandfather who's almost 92 so I have to cook now and make sure he has healthy food to eat. Makes for long days. Roxie

You take care of your husband's grandfather??? How kind is that. You are truly a good person. God will smile on you!!!

By the way, I made a batch of muffins with no sugar added applesauce, a bit of maple syrup (sweetened with splenda) and fresh blueberries. I used egg substitutes and skim milk. You would never know this is a fat free and no sugar added muffin.

Alan just about went off his trolley. It plumps up and the blueberries were all over the place.

I wished I lived in Texas, I'd come over with a plate of muffins.

Hope you are feeling better.

Take care,

Melody

HI! WoW blue berry muffins! Mike would go crazy too for those!
I need to start making more things with splenda. I have major yeast infections all the time. I can't eat the fake sugar stuff. It rips up my intestines. I have IBS (as if I don't have enough problems!)
Mike's grandfather has had more and more problems living by himself so last June he asked if we'd move in here with him. He didn't want to have to go to a retirement house. So we sold our place, had 3 garage sales.....2 at our place and 1 here....and recruited 2 very good friends.....and we moved...and moved...and moved! Mike repainted the inside of this house while my friend helped us pack and have the garage sales. What a summer! I also transplanted my butterfly garden and cactus gardens over here......in 99 degree temps! Everything survived!
We'd been taking care of this yard for the past 4 yrs so it's nice now to just have 1 yard to take care of instead of 2! This yard is an acre! We have lots of flower beds, huge trees, and bushes......lots to take care of! lol
Do you enjoy growing flowers? I do.....relaxes me. I work in the flower bed when I'm in a lot of pain......I try to keep my mind off it.....some time it helps....some times not. Roxie

I don't know anyone who would have done what you did.

You are to be commended.

Melody

P.S. I am off to meet up with Alan at Dunkin Donuts. He just got off the night shift and we have a breakfast date on Saturday mornings.

Oh, the coffee at Dunkin!!!!

OHHHHHHHH I miss things like donuts! Since my gastric bypass I can't eat such sugary things. I hope you'll eat one for me! LOL
Luckily I'm not a coffee drinker.....but I am a tea drinker but have trouble even drinking that since I have the IC.
It sounds like you have a wonderful marriage. We do too and that sure is nice!! How long have you and Alan been married? Mike and I have been married for 3 yrs now. We met on Yahoo 4 yrs ago. We were married on Valentine's Day 2004....very romantic! Have a good day! Roxie
