Cool Pictures of everyone...

Hi Melody:

I think too that it would be fun to see what everyone looks like. However, I for one don't own any kind of camera, much less a digital one or whatever it takes to e-mail pictures.

You all will have to continue to picture me as this gorgeous 77 year old babe! Actually, it is better that way.

Cheers...
Shirley

Sorry for the confusion here – my error. I forget too easily that this is probably not apparent unless you really knew me and my sense of humor, which can be really off the wall on a good day.

As to your description – pretty close for the eyes, don’t know that they are piercing but they are azure. No long flowing hair, still have it all, but a long standing S&P full beard, mostly S now. I have had the beard since I left the Army – many years ago.

Your image of an alchemist is similar to my screen saver which is a color woodcut from a 16th century Dutch alchemist who is searching for the ever elusive philosophers’ stone – much like my own profession. A good analogy would be the sorcerer from “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice”.

As for the ‘pottamus in a tutu, hie back to “Fantasia” and conjure up those twinkle-toes characters - the 'pottamus takes a far better picture than I. The connection between the ‘pottami and the alchemist would necessitate a long explanation for an extensive collection of stuffed animals.

I am looking forward to your picture!
