Default wierd form of Peripheral neuropathy, with sudden onset?

I dint realize this, but loss of smell and taste can be part of the PN, syndrome.
I. HOWEVER this time my PN, has progress somewhat.
a few months ago i developed some strange sensation losses.
Jan 8-9= while under the affects of a 1st generation antihistamine, i noticed i lost my sense of smell and taste, it came back slightly, but never to do the acute senses i had before. went to the er nothing could be determined.
over the next few weeks my tingling, chills, shivering, became pins and needles, mostly on my left side of the body:hands feet, and left side of face at first.
During the first few days of the sudden onset: while i was sleeping, or sitting still my body had an urge to shiver uncontrollably(no fever, infection or cold temperature) then i noticed i started getting myclonic jerking,as well as hypnic jerks as well. this lasted for a few days, but eventually went away. but it came back when i was out at a restuarant eating dinner, the jerking suddenly came back for a few minutes, cold shivering preceded it. About the same time i noticed the loss of sensations , no sensations of food sliding down stomach, fullness or emptyness feeling are gone, even tirdedness feeling is gone. went to a pcp reluctantly granted me a specialist referral, but that was a few months away.
to give a general example of my loss of sensations is: inability to feel hunger(no appetite loss) until the stimulation is too strong, anxiety feeling in the body is also absent, so technically i cant feel any anxiety at all. this applies to everything internally stimulated as well
within the last 2 weeks, i started to notice my right side also experiencing pins and needles, and random twinges of pain around joints and ligaments. i already have been at this for a few months.

does anyone have any insight on this type of neuropathy or diabetes neuropathy?
feb2, and specialist scheduled. i still will be waiting my specialist appoint for about more than 1 month(apr 30th), this was scheduled more than an month earlier, during my pcp vist in feb 2. i HAD TRIED calling the clinic to see any earlier appt, they said none are available.
