I noticed a big improvement in my sinus congestion, my energy and clearer thinking.

To help with those nose bleeds, make sure you are getting enough Vit A and C....those vitamins strengthen the membranes. And so do Omega-3's. A good multivit with therapeutic amounts of A and C may help with recovery.
Gosh I didn't know that about sugars Mrs D. I will slow right down on them now you've pointed this out as they have been helping to take away the awful bitter taste of the second antibiotic. My bowel hasn't been affected much by any of this I must say but I defer to your wisdom on how Candida works and really do want to put an end to this horrible pain around my teeth. Many thanks.

Definitely sounds like sinus problems to me, I get that pain, all my teeth hurt top and sometimes bottom teeth too, it is horrible pain, steam helps loosen it all up to clear the sinuses, but it can take a couple of weeks to clear after a cold/ virus.

@Mat.... iherb.com does ship to UK locations. So you could order them that way. Just check their shipping page
for details.

Thanks - I did look but the second link didn't work. I'm always a bit wary of supplements to be honest although I do take AdCal D3, Levothyroxine and B12 sublingually. Surely doing things naturally means just that? I mean if I avoid sugars of all description for now and eat as much veg and savoury soups as I can face (not a lot just now) then don't you think this would be enough to lessen the Candida? Foods in the UK are much less processed and much more tightly regulated - organic foods are easy to buy and genetically modified crops are banned still I'm pleased to say. I say this having been to the States last year and been rather shocked by the food and drink I was forced to consume. None of it had any taste at all and this is me - someone who has lost their sense of taste and smell to a great extent over the years so I require strong fresh flavours in order to enjoy food.

However I did get a strong memory after reading your helpful replies. A few years ago my sister had pneumonia and lived off smoothies and yoghurt with manuka for ages afterwards. She developed a very sore burning mouth which affected her for upwards of a year. So what you say about avoiding sweet foods makes a lot of sense to me - I'm just not sure about the "natural" man made supplements though?

Thanks. Steam seems to have me coughing like a crazy woman but once my cough has abated I will try again and hope it helps.

Once Candida takes you over....some starving of it may help, but it is very difficult to get rid of it.

It continually poisons you on a daily basis. The aldehydes it creates are very irritating and hard on nerves. You could try extra thiamine as this B1 is the cofactor in the dehydrogenases that detox the aldehydes. Either regular thiamine, in high dose, or benfotiamine type. This may help get rid of some of the aldehydes, but it won't kill off the Candida. Do a search on Candida... you'll see.

The caprylic acid mentioned in that article is in the NOW Candida Support product.

Here is another link for the NOW probiotic:

Okay thanks Mrs D I will take a look. Out of interest could Candida be the cause of widespread and longstanding small fiber neuropathy I wonder? you say it affects the nerves so this has set me thinking.
