I've read on posts here (and you probably have too) that some of the tests may not be really accurate for someone who is pre-diabetic. I can't remember what daily readings they suggested but that may help you, and your doctors, determine if there could be an issue with your bs.

No I've never bothered to check apart from annual blood sugar tests which are always entirely normal range. The way I see it is that as long as I'm very good at keeping up my exercising daily and eat incredibly well (bad TMD and no sense of smell or taste) despite low appetite these days - I should be able to keep type 2 away. I know type 1 is different but type 2 diabetes you can withstand by keeping weight down and exercising and sticking to small helpings of healthy food. Avoiding steroids helps too I believe. Anyway I don't think pre-diabetc neuropathy would affect my hands and my face and jaw?
