I got my second set of bloodwork back, and the only thing out of standard range was my B6. On a standard range of 5-47, mine was 64. This doesn't seem high enough to cause toxicity. Although I did find some people suffering from taking lower doses daily. I've only been taking a multivitamin for the past few years, possible longer. But it only has 25 mg per pill. Needless to say, i'm dropping my multi and drinking tons of water for now. Anyone insight?

If you were taking the vitamins when you had the testing, the result is only reflective of that. The ranges were made using values from people NOT taking any vitamins.
To the best of my knowledge, there are no ranges existing for people currently using vitamins. If your sample was not handled properly and the cells burst during the handling...then the B6 in them will register higher in the serum. This is a common problem with potassium testing as well. You should stop the vitamins several days before any testing. My doctor now has reports when doing my tests...that the sample was lysed. (this means the cells had ruptured). This can happen when a very fine needle is used, which I have to have because my veins are so small. So my last potassium reading was considered "high" because of the lysed (burst cells).

Thanks. Well I stopped the multi. I have a bottle of methyl B12 but my levels from the test were really high so I don't think supplementation would do much. For now I am just taking the following:
vitamin D 2000 iu fish oil r-lipoic 100 mg |

My labs showed a elevated B6 but I was taking a Centrum with 300 % RDA of B6 at the time of the test. Mine was 152 with a normal range for this test 20-125.
