It really depends a lot on the person you go to , same as doctor, mechanics etc..

A very good, expert, highly skilled is always best. Take the time to search out those.
I've been to 2 , an older guy that was very gentle and an overall healer type, he helped me the most with my chronic RSi/TOS stuff. And last year a younger gal for my lower back, she was very gentle and precise as well.
No grab and crack stuff at all from either of them.

You can usually ask for an assessment, no adjusting and see what they say, but still find a a highly skilled practitioner.

There was a member that thought they had RSD years ago , but finally went to a chiro and he found a nerve in her foot was pinched all that time.

But a pinched nerve wouldn't show symptoms all over, like legs and arms, is this correct?

I went to a chiro for a dislocated knee. One of the symptoms I had was a very sore toe and foot.

She reset the knee and gave me stretches to keep the adjustment. I was amazed that the toe and foot pain stopped the minute she reset my knee. To this day, I believe some of my foot pain is referred from my knees which have arthritis in them.

So while a chiro may not help all burning or all paresthesias, it might help with reducing compressions that are causing grief in circumscribed locations.

If you decide to go to a chiropractor it helps to have an accurate diagnosis of what else is going on in your body beforehand. I have osteoarthritis in my lower back, neck and left shoulder. At the time I went to the chiro only the lower back had been diagnosed (x-ray) - the neck cracking caused more damage because the chiro didn't pick up on the OA in the neck and shoulder. Still have OA - but not the chiro!

A set of x rays should be suggested/requested by chiro before treatment -if a specific ailment /area is being treated.

Biggest waste of money ever, the guy told me he could sort my symptoms in one treatment, what a suprise he didn't. I have seen an osteopath previously who was very good but I won't waste my money on a chiropractor again

neuropathy is a complex symptom, of underlying diseases. I dont think it will help unless the neuropathy was caused by spinal issue not involved in inflammations, remeber they are not MDs, so they dont know whats going on with your body. they only know how to "adjust your skeleton into a confortable position. they cant treat any underlying diseases.

DC's can adjust more than only the spine. And some are much more skilled than others, but we all see that with many treatment providers.
If the nerve is pinched at any joint it might be part of the pain, depending on where your PN is located.

If anyone says they can fix anything in a single session, I'd be very sceptical. That applies to PT ,DC & MD etc..
