I broke ankle 3 weeks ago. I did not realize I broke it, but it did not get better so I ended up going to podiatrist today. Dr recommended surgery and I have date set. He also said I have numbness in foot and he could not stand to walk on ankle as bad as mine.
I had fracture of tibia and fibula. I have had previous tests for diabetes and they all come back borderline like A1C 6.2. Could anything besides diabetes cause numbness?
