Default Is this my sciatic nerve?

I have a lot of twitching, vibrating and pulsing in my legs. It's closer to my inner leg than the middle or outside. These feelings run in a straight line from top of thigh down to big toe. This particular problem started after acupuncture and it literally hasn't stopped for one second since ( in both legs). Is this my sciatic nerve? It feels closer to my front leg than back and i thought ur sciatic was close to the back of ur leg. Anybody have physical injury to a nerve and have this happen? It's been almost 6 months since this happened and no signs of improvement. Any suggestions? When not on pain meds IT also creates tons of pain, on meds the pain is tolerable ( barely). I need this nerve to heal. Injury sites are close to spine and down near ankle.

That sounds more like your saphenous nerve. Or you could have involvement of both saphenous and posterior tib. These are both on the medial or inside side of the leg. On some people the saphenous runs to the big toe on others it runs to the ankle. That would be just to the front side of the malleolus, the knobby part, The posterior tib runs along the back side of the knobby part. You can find good nerve charts for the leg online and see if the distribution makes sense. Have you by chance seen a chiropractor? Maybe one that does Active Release Therapy? They can sometimes run down an odd source of nerve irritation or entrapment. A good one could check both spine and potential compressions in the leg from fascial bands if they do the soft tissue work. You could also consider a block of that nerve by PM.

Sending hugs
