Hi canagirl,
I would think your arm would be a separate issue to your sfn, and you should try to view it as such to get it treated. I have a compressed spinal cord with referred pain and numbness above and beyond my blanket Neurological issues which are seen as, and treated as such. Can you not access PT directly, without a referral, over there like we can here? If not, just see your GP and only talk about your elbow pain and the numbness in your fingers - make it clear it is not sfn in your opinion. Dave. |
update...
I am happy to report that I had a massage on Thursday and I had NO increase in burning or other symptoms later that night, the next day or throughout the weekend! :):):) It felt wonderfully relaxing. I am assuming the Gabapentin took care of the burning. Also, I have NEVER had a massage like the one I had last week. This woman was amazing, she seems to really know a lot about compression, relaxation, trigger points, etc. I have another one booked this week. |
