Default Tightness in left side of face, eye has more washed out colors

Hi, I have posted here before about numbness in my hands after rabies vaccine. No neuropathy found when tested and besides the occasional ants in hand when sleeping it seems ok now. But for the last three weeks left side of my face seems tight and with about 80% sensation. Not numb entirely. Plus sometimes my left hand and leg feel a bit off. Hard to explain. They are not numb or weak. They just feel a little wierd. And something I was not connecting earlier, my lft eye sees darker and the colors are a bit washed out. I came to accept that the vaccine could have been the starter for most of my problems but i cannot shake the feeling something else is happening :/ Anyone else on the same boat?

DId you take the human diploid one? I looked at the side effects, it indeed can cause the symptoms you are describing, have seen a doc about this.

Dont know which vaccine was used (they gave it to me in thailand). Have said about it to my docs and neither thinks it has anything to do with it. But I think they just never seen anyone with problems after rabies injection.. I will try to force myself to my neurologist again. It is so hard to get to them on a short notice :/

Oblivion,

It is just aesthetic, the eye change, or is there noticable difference in functionality?

I think it would be best to see an opthamologist.

Color changes suggest a retinal issue.

Many ophthalmologists aren't equipped to look at the optic nerve. I had my eyes checked three times at different ophthalmologists and not one of them mentioned anything about my optic nerve or did a picture and scan of my optic nerve. The fourth one had a special mention that was able to take images of the nerve. That's how I found out my left optic nerve is thinning. My vision and eyes are perfect other than that. No pressure, other sign of disease, don't even need a prescription. Only reasoni kept seeing eye doctors is because I keep getting blurry Vision and sometimes a hole in my vision I left eye. Point is not all Drs have the same equipment.

So I got to my neurologist. She said that it is most probbly a trapped netve because the problem is not constant. She send me to CT anyways for which I am greatfull because it will hopefully rule out anything wrong. Also I have been to my opthalmologist who didnt find nything wrong with my eyes. I told her that my left pupil seems sluggish when accomodating but she didnt seem alarmed. In a month I will see how the CT goes...

Cool Smirk

Hi Oblivionrpg,

I hope you are happier with this dx, and the further tests clear everything up for you. Then it is just a case of sorting out effective treatment to get it sorted.

Dave.
