They are doing much research on ALS. It is amazing that Stephen Hawking has lived so long. Hopefully, there will be something found that will help.

I am able to olympic weightlift once a week or mountainbike but not 2 days in a rowe if i am doing that the nerves in my feet get very iritated

Same here. If I push myself even slightly on a day when I can workout, I am in bed for the next three days or more recovering.

I was going to reply the same thing in reference to jurgens975's post, but you said it. When I tell my doctors this, they look at me like I'm crazy. Yes, if I over do it on a good day, I, too, am in bed for 3 days. What good is that?
