Default Parsing some humor out of our pain

My son loves Toy Story. The Army Men are a hit. They are often strewn about. The Easter Bunny saw fit to include some brown army men in his basket. They show up great against our brown carpet.

I made my way downstairs after putting him to bed the other night and shuffled toward my personal oasis of a large chair/ottoman combo... only to be ambushed by what I later determined to be a rifleman and a minesweeper!?!? What?!?

I fell. Thankfully I still have some level dexterity and was close to the chair, though if you slowed down my audio I swear it would have sounded like Will Ferrell from Old School after he was darted and/or the horrid Darth Vader Nooo from Episode III.

My daughter came over to test the meddle of these army men, my wife scolded her not to mock me. I didn't take it that way, though. I can't imagine how hard it is on them. I am not vascilating in symptoms so greatly I am doing cartwheels one day to traction the next, but two days before we did some yard work together.

I had to forgive the army men. Besides it being my way my favorite color happens to be brown.

Jon
