Hi Mrs. D.

Use a little and it goes a long way. Got It!!!

If this works, when I'm about to run out, I'll ask Walgreens if they can order it for me. The guy said "We don't have it in this store but they have it on 13th Avenue'. Now why didn't the guy say "I can order it for you".

I'll ask them when I go there next time.

And no putting on bottom of feet, got that too.

lol

Love ya, Melody

Hi Mrs. D.

Been using the lotion for three days night. I put a small amount on each knee and behind the knee, and I put a small amount on the top of my feet and ankles. The bottle says to USE GENEROUSLY. But you said it's strong and to use a little so I listen to you.

I just got the report back from my Bilateral Lower Extremity Arterial Doppler. Since I don't know where to put the report I'm going to start a new thread, post what the report says and ask my questions. If it needs to be moved to a different forum, they will let me know.

And thanks so much for the info on the Empsom Lotion. I haven't had any spasms since I've been using it. You're a doll

Well, generously is a vague term for me. I know how this stuff works and it really lowers my blood pressures, with just small amounts. Since they don't say what the concentration of it is, I tend to be conservative about it. The small size of the bottle, and heaviness of it suggests a very concentrated product, to me.

It will open up your arteries too...and increase the circulation in your legs.

I bet many people over 60 (and some much younger) have small impairments in their legs. I knew a 45 yr old woman who worked with me occasionally who smoked and had terrible PAD... she had severe pain all the time with the slightest effort walking and had to have surgery for it.

Try and keep your fat consumption fairly low. You don't have to avoid them, but a very high fat meal will make the blood thicker and harder to move around. Studies on normal people showed that very high fat consumption (fried foods, ice cream etc), thickened the blood for up to 12 hours after. Ask your doctor about the baby aspirin, and if that is safe for you to use too.
Stay well hydrated also so the blood does not get too thick. If your triglycerides are elevated, take fish oil and bring them down.

Hi.

I'm a sprouter, not a meat eater, and never a red meat eater. I do have the occasional ice cream, but after this, forget it. I shall do everything you said

Thank you so much.

Oh I never read the bottle. It says SHAKE BEFORE USING. It's 8 oz.

lol

I know there are many doctors that believe that certain microbes are the trigger for MS and many nerve disorders and I find it very interesting.
I asked my neuro if he would prescribe an anti fungal since I have recently been diagnosed with asthma all of a sudden- it kind of would be worth a try I thought. He said he does not prescribe antifungals, and that flagyl has cause some cases of neuropathy.

I saw my rheumatologist and she said that not knowing what fungus to target, she won't prescribe one either. So I am at a loss here. It is a possibility, but NONE of them care about finding the cause. I can't believe I can have buckets full of nerve drugs or steroids with hundreds of side effects but no one will try me on a few antifungals??

Why hasn't anyone ran any tests for fungal infections?

I am almost ready to call the lyme dr. back because he had mentioned putting me on one. It will just cost me a lot!

did you find any good information linking fungus and neuropathy? I have a fungus infection on my toenail which has been resistant to OTC treatments.( BTW I got this toenail fungus while on prednisone-) I asked my Dr for a Rx for it and he called in terbinfine (lamisil ) which is in pill form for me to take for 12 weeks.
I have not started it yet, just got it today. It comes with quite a list of side effects.
I had just ignored the toenail fungus for years, because I never wear sandals anyway---with this neuropathy, they would fall off my feet.
Your post interested me to reading a little more on the fungus, Ive learned that fungus on the toenail, means there could be fungus internally.
Just thinking, if you have any nail fungus or ringworm you could call your Dr. and request an anti fungal for that and see how your body responds.
I think the anti-fungal tx for lyme is quite extensive. and...this was inexpensive--ten dollars for a 12 week supply.
