I've been trying to figure out if my leg twitching is a symptom of SFN or something else like Restless Leg Syndrome.
My twitching occurs usually between 12pm-2am and it wakes will me up most nights if I don't medicate. It is not Periodic Limb Movement Disorder as my leg does not lift. It feels sometimes more like my muscle or tendon is being pulled. It does not cramp. I don't necessarily need to get up and move (which is suppose to be how to diagnose RLS), although sometimes when it lasts too long I get frustrated and do. It can last for hours. I have looked this up online but so many symptoms overlap that I just can't get a real sense of what it is. This is most frustrating to me because I have the typical symptoms of PN (burning, pins & needles, stabbing pains) and I don't know if this twitching thing is a secondary disease or syndrome. I would love to know if any of you out there also have this symptom and what your thoughts are. |
