Default Need some new tv for allnighters

Netflix, amazon prime?
I'm actually thinking of canceling cable and getting hulu too.
I find that back to back episodes of tv series help get me through the misery and pain but I have burned through so many and need some ideas... anyone?

I cancelled my cable several years ago. We have Amazon Prime and Netflix (streaming and the 2 disc plan). Lately, I've been watching all episodes of House.

Some of the series we've enjoyed were Orange is the New Black, Californication, Dexter, Sons of Anarchy, Archer, Game of Thrones, True Blood, Sorprano's, Six Feet Under, The Wire, True Detective, Shameless, Ray Donovan, Nurse Jackie, L Word, The Bogias etc.

For a girl who used to never watch TV, I've sure made up for it!

Hulu is good. Check out Difficult People and for something super light and ridiculous, Hotwives of Orlando.

Laughter is good therapy.

Netflix rocks, Amazon Prime not nearly as much but you can still find something to watch if you work at it.

TV gives me the blues. Commercials give me the blues. I haven't watched TV in more than 30 years.

Cable jacks up the price, for simple services, its really annoying. it could be better with netflix and amazon, since comcast really dislike netflix users.

Netflix gets my vote for series. In addition to all the other suggestions I also liked The Fall, House of Cards, The Killings and Mad Men.

I would brag in the past about how I rarely watched TV. Boy how times have changed!!

I have binge watched on Netflix for a good while and have started to run out of favorites. Stuff I liked includud, Lilihammer,Bloodline,Monarch of the Glen, All Creatures Great and Small. If I get stuck I will pick up on House Of Cards. Watched all of House M.D. Will start Mad Men. Lots of British detectives out there, I likes Crossing Lines but some I had to abandon. I have always been stupid for faky, facky, fake Chinese Kung Fu. On Netflix if you wait after the credits have rolled there will be more choices of same kind of movie that you can click on. Beware as this leads to Kung Fu overloadand and you start to believe that you are a 100 lb Chinese boy that is deadly from toes to ponytail.haha.Good Luck, Ken in Texas.

I'm on DirecTV and really like the video on demand feature, but they've been raising the cost so high, that I'm on the cheapest plan they have. I told them if it goes up one more dollar, I'm done. The operator laughed, I asked her what was funny? She said she had closed 3 peoples accounts over the same thing. I told her to be careful talking like that. She laughed again and said she was on her 10th day of her 2 weeks notice, and could care less if they heard her...
I also have Amazon prime, but the movie and TV show selection isn't as good as Hulu or Netflix.
