Default just got a summons for jury duty

Do you think they'll allow me to sit there in just my boxer shorts?

I have been excused twice from jury duty due to PN. Otherwise, they would've had to provide a bed.

Can you go online and fill out a request, or send email for begin excused and the reason ( health issues and a short bit about it)?

Some county and state do that, if you explain your limitations they usually are understanding.
You don't have to go into detail , just a basic idea of why you would have troubles sitting for x amount of time, need to move around for comfort, maintaining mental focus, travel to & from, etc..
They may require drs note as proof , so don't exaggerate anything.

Sitting / being at home is very different from sitting quietly in a court room..and having to focus on testimony..

A while ago, when I was going to a regular therapy group for people with mood disorders, I got a jury summons for a long trial.

The clinical psychologist who ran the group wrote a letter which I showed the judge - it took him about 10 seconds to excuse me from jury duty.

Thanks icelander for making me laugh - just what I needed - a mental image of you sitting in a courtroom in boxer shorts
. . . have you picked out which pattern you're gonna wear?

I have gotten out of jury duty for simple anxiety and claustrophobia, and with SFN added to it? I don't see you doing any time.
