Have your doctors been at all helpful with what you are enduring through this loss? I am worried about your pain levels getting out of control.
Hey dear Susanne.......I too am waiting for the sun to come back out ! Looks like this weather is here to stay this week. Thank goodness today was the day for my new patch.

I'm so close to my PCP and old APRN that they know I would ask if I thought I needed something. I actually saw both of them last week when I went in for my sinus infection.

I am going to ask my pain dr if he can increase my oxycodone to 4 times a day but I'm not sure they are allowed to do that in that practice. As others are able to do I have extras but if winter gets me like this rain has I'm going to be in trouble. My pain dr has said anytime I want to try another drug he's willing to let me. But you know what that entails....titrating off what I'm on now before starting the new. I know I'm not ready for that right now. Don't think I can handle it mentally. I know he's right when he says an SCS is my best bet for pain relief but I just can't get my mind around having one put in. I was going to do the trial after the first of the year but that was when I thought I'd have Bubba by my side. Losing him will change a lot of things I had planned to do. Pain dr also says I need my CT fixed in my right wrist. That if I don't get it fixed there will come a time when even surgery won't help. Is that true ? Anybody know if it goes on too long it can't be corrected with surgery ?

I'm just lost without him

Unless I stay on top on my oxycodone my pain spikes to a 10 very quickly. I guess with SFN, osteo and CTN in my wrist it's to be expected. I can't remember the last time it was this bad.

Maybe it's due to all the stress I've been under ?

I just miss him so badly. Yesterday afternoon it had been 4 weeks.....4 weeks is the last time I saw him and it's so sad. I try so hard to remember him not in Hospice but it's hard. That whole weekend was just gut wrenching.

Thanks as always for listening to me.

Praying for you Deb I can only imagine your sadness.
