I would say that's a no brainer. Most folks find keeping to a lower carb diet reduces pain greatly. You're gonna need to cheat and have stuff of course but if you don't make a habit of it you'll be OK. R-Lipoic Acid will also do a TON to keep blood sugar and sometimes NEURO pain in check. It's probably the only supplement I can actually say has delivered on some of the listed promises. I take 200 mg's every morning and wait an hour before I eat breakfast and literally no matter what i eat my numbers are in the 70s or 80s as little as an hour after eating. Its also great peace of mind and usually when your blood sugars stay lower and you are regulating properly it means you will avoid many health issues and lose weight as a bonus. I have used Doctor's Best brand of R-Lipoic myself.
