Default Healing Damaged Nerve

Here is another opinion on "what to do". My right thigh and IT band down outside of thigh are so numb. I'm buying a Tens unit soon and maybe I'll go back on some alfalfa as noted in this "how to link". I took alfalfa years ago for arthritis help....don't remember my results so far back. Everything is worse today. This damage affects my whole leg, knee down to foot/ankle.

Heart

Hi Caroline,

I am sorry you have had such a challenging time since the surgery.
I know you have tried so many different approaches, in hopes of finding some relief, and in hopes of healing yourself, as well.

Many people are not as diligent in keeping up a self-healing effort.

Congrats on your diligence/perseverance.

Hugs and healing thoughts to you for your ongoing discomfort and challenges.

Dave, I've been working on my own healing over 25 yrs now. The traditional world did the damage I'm dealing with. Thanks for your concern.

DejaVu: I've had damage from some drugs, so I choose this way. There are trade-offs. I'm OK enough with my choice to keep comfortable. Can't reverse the surgery and years of advancing OA.

I just ordered a 2 oz trial of the red Kratom and will see how that works in my body.

Caroline, I like my ten's machine so much I bought another one. I don't know about helping with numbness, but it works for me with sore muscles, twitching and minor pain. Mine is tens 7000 which I bought on Amazon for $25.00.

Pinky, that is the one I'm ordering, but they are out of stock right now. I'm going to try it on the dead thigh area and we'll see. My chiro used a tens protocol last week on knee and it did good that's when I thought I'd get one so I can use it daily. Good to hear you like it. My gf bought it too. Many on amazon own several, bought them for gifts...price is right.

on how the TENS works for you. I am researching for best ideas for muscle cramps. (not me, someone else). I have a dead thigh area but it's a result of industrial accident 30+ yrs ago. I still rub on it sometimes as it tingles off and on. Good Luck, Ken in Texas.
