Default Hemp Seed

Anyone tried, or have any success with Hemp Seeds?

My daughter has arthritis at the age of 39 and has started using them, and when she read up on it she wondered if it would help with her dads neuropathy?

Thanks, Linda

Yes, this is an interesting area that I started to look into.

I read Mrs. D asserting that healing oils are helpful for all types of neuropathy.

Then I started looking into all the different types of oils and chemical balances and found that hemp oil (as sold in Europe) has the perfect ratio the body needs of omega 3-6-9. Whereas the fish oils and other oils, have a different balance. Search the archives. Mrs. D has a big long thread discussing the complicated chemistry of the omegas.

I don't have time right now to properly participate in this thread, but I want to encourage you to keep looking in this area, because if you get the right hemp products, I think they will be a healthy addition to your regime.

The challenge is making sure you get a very good fresh product. This type of product goes rancid quickly.

As for seeds, I started with the hulled ones and would sprinkle them on food.

I have included some links below to start pointing you in the right direction.

Best wishes,

Natalie

Many thanks to both of you for the very informative posts! It seems like it is certainly worth trying and won't hurt - I'll probably take it too!
