Any thoughts on what he had to say?

He has an interesting video and I think he's right about getting back to basics with the paleo diet. I've tried a couple of machines offered in our town by chiropractors for pn sufferers, but none of them cured my pn. I think I've had it too long now.

In a recent issue of Dr. Blaylock's news letter, someone asked him what he recommends for burning feet. His answer was that diabetes and taking statin drugs are the two biggest causes, and the statins increase your chances of pn by 14 fold (I think the video said 16 fold). The supplements he recommended are Acetyl-L-carnitine, R-lipoic acid and omega 3 oils, and also taking curcumin has helped in some cases.

(Dr. Russell Blaylock is a retired neurosurgeon who concentrates his energy now on supplements.)

Sorry for necro bumping this thread but I just got through with this video.

I think some of what he recommends is helpful. A paleo type diet will help you lose weight which is good for your health. TENS machines help with pain block in some instances but it doesn't heal nerves and the effects are only temporary. Same with creams. EFAC, Topricin may give temporary relief but I'm not convinced it "heals."

I think this guy is a quack and snake oil salesman. He disables comments in his videos. He has a book saying you can beat cancer "naturally." His clinic uses the Hako Med device and justifies charging patients large amounts of money to make up its cost. Googling Hako Med and fraud:

Warning Letter to Hako Med making unverifiable medical claims
Chrio sent to prison for healthcare fraud using that device
Article about common fraud practices

Sorry to be a downer but people like this irritate me because they profit off of desperation when traditional medical practices fail. Blaylock is another and a regular guest on Alex Jones. Another one is Joel Wallach.

Certainly you are entitled to your opinion. But I have to say, Dr. Blaylock MD does not deserve to be included in your appraisal of ineffective treatments.
