Patrick, I also take GP only at night for the same reason and so my symptoms won't keep me from sleeping. I posted some time back about feeling that GP worsens my pain first and then reduces it but I don't think anyone responded. It only happens sometimes now. I have been on the drug for about 6 months.

I know it's gabapentin and not Lyrica but they are similar drugs and Lyrica shares ingredients of gabapentin.

Yes you thought about taking gaba and then thinking is the pain the gaba? or just normal because end of the day? that is literally how I question everything - but now the flare settled back down and I am still on the Lyrica so it was probably just a flare with convenient timing. Lyrica does slow me a little but not too much and I will wait to see if it reduces more with time. Thank you for your reply - always appreciated !
