Default PVD vs PN

I had MRI of neck for another condition. This MRI showed plaque on carotid artery. Now I have tests of sonogram on arteries and a test on my legs and ankle coming up.

I noticed my record had: Bruit on neck artery and low pulse on ankle.

I do have pain on my legs, but how do you tell PN pain from vascular pain?

Also, can PN cause a low ankle pulse?

My tests are on December 23.
