Maybe it Twasabug that bit you,bwahaha, couldn't resist. Since you have had testing I am assuming you are not diabetic. I am also assuming you have not been through Chemotheapy. The fact that you slept for two years makes me thing that you might have taken some medication that is toxic. Some antibiotics cause Neuropathy(Floroquinolones). Did you ever make a living up to your elbows in industrial cleaning solvents? Others here have thyroid knowledge and will perhaps help out.
