Default Bilateral axonal sensorimotor polyneuropathy

Ihello. First time here. Anyone have advice on what could be causing this? I have it in my arms and legs. I know what the words mean but can't figure out what is causing it. No MS on brain scan. Neurologist is working on figuring it out. I also have very brisk reflexes if that helps thanks

Default There are innumerable causes--

--ranging from toxic to metabolic to autoimmune to compressive . . .

What type of testing have you had to determine cause?

If you want, compare your testing to the listings here:

Default Testing done is

I've had dozens of lyme, all reg blood work and MRIs of brain and full spine. Next I'm getting a spinal tap. I'm seeing a neurologist right now. I do have low thyroid on pills for that. Myers cocktail(vit and mineral iv) helped alot but drs here say they are in normal range. I wonder if normal for me is higher then normal? I basically slept the last 2 years. Drs don't know why? Oim finally feeling better but nerves getting worse. I guess I was hoping for any thing I may not know. Thanks

Maybe it Twasabug that bit you, bwahaha, couldn't resist. Since you have had testing I am assuming you are not diabetic. I am also assuming you have not been through Chemotheapy. The fact that you slept for two years makes me thing that you might have taken some medication that is toxic. Some antibiotics cause Neuropathy(Floroquinolones). Did you ever make a living up to your elbows in industrial cleaning solvents? Others here have thyroid knowledge and will perhaps help out. If legs are weak, do you know what your b-12 number is? needs to be 400+ to around 1000. Good Luck, Ken in Texas.
