Default Blood test RBC and molybdenum

I went to get my blood tests today and the was told in order to get magnesium RBC and molybdenum blood, I can't take supplements for a week and eat no leafy greens or legumes for 2 days.

I asked her if that just meant those particular supplements and she didn't really know.

Anyone know?

Here's Doctor's Data instruction for RBC Element test. Says to fast and not take supplements for 72 hours prior. Nothing about avoiding foods.

Hi Healthgirl

Molybdenum is an essential trace element because it is needed for the functions of four human enzymes.

The information here, which includes RDA recommendations, might help you; http://lpi.oregonstate.edu/mic/minerals/molybdenum.
