This is just so frustrating and confusing. I've had a MRI of my brain, neck, spine, all normal. I've also had a CT scan, EMG, nerve conduction test, ekg, and recently a SSEP test which was normal!!!!! My first two neurologist ruled out stroke because of the clear MRI. I went to see a neuromuscular Dr and he thought I had a small stroke from the way I described my symptoms. But, when he looked at the MRI, he said that he couldn't find any signs of small or large stroke. So now he has ruled this theory out as well.
I don't know what to do. Without the right diagnosis I feel as though I'm not getting the right treatment. How can I have sudden onset of nerve pain that's asymmetrical, couldnt move my arm for a couple of seconds, and it not be some type of stroke? Why won't this stroke show up on any of these tests if I'm still having residual symptoms? |

[ nerve pain that's asymmetrical, couldnt move my arm for a couple of seconds]
Are there any other symptoms besides the above? Only the arm affected? Left or Right? What kind of work or activities do you do? Repetitive, desk work, sports?
