Default Looking for shoes

I would welcome some suggestions for shoes for my poor feet suffering from SFN. I currently wear Sketchers because they were the only comfy shoes, but even they are getting to be such that I can tell I need something with a little more support on the sides. My feet hurt so much at night even though I'm mostly off my feet for the majority of the day. It's just that the Sketchers really offer no good support for my feet. I can't rub my own feet (and I'm not married), due to my two back surgeries which have left my unable to bend or twist. Can't even reach my toes - I go to a podiatrist to get my toe nails cut every 8 weeks!! I work, so I need something that looks halfway decent.
Any suggestions would be welcome.
Thanks to you all!

We have several long threads here about shoes.

Please use our search function to find those. Shoes are highly personal though, and some types work better than others for people...who may choose theirs according to specific reasons.

Mrs. D, could you please direct me to where I exactly go to search for the shoes threads? When I go to Search, I do not see any.
Thank you.

Sandy I have SFN and the shoes that have worked best for me are Merrell's. Also I removed their insole and put in a special orthopedic insole called powerstep.

Hope this helps,

Cliffman

Wink

Click on search box on page 1 of this forum.
Then type in shoes.

The list will then come up. I cannot give you results
of my search because our software does not work on two
Party sharing.

There is a shoe thread in our PN subforum above also.
Using our search function is very helpful as there are
Good postings here from people who have moved on.

I bumped up one thread on the sub forum for you.
You can enter the sub forum from page one on this main PN
one.
