Default what next Morton's neuroma

well doctor has put me on a higher dose of Neurontin from 100 x3 a day to 300 x3 a day and its taking the edge off it now but after 3 or 4 hrs of taking them it starts to come back strong but on top of that I now look like I have Morton's neuroma always had problems with the heel for a few years but now the ball of the foot is horrid doctor sending me to a foot specialists .is there any link between pn and mortons ??
