Laugh First bit of good news in a long time. It's "just" SFN!

I had a one-year follow up EMG w/Nerve Conduction test and my nerve conduction has improved and "healed" in almost every test. My results are all within normal ranges now.

Neurologist believes I'm left with just auto-immune SFN. I consider this to be a great diagnosis. I was facing a potential future of paralysis and loss of motor function. Now it's just looking like discomfort and loss of sensation.

I know for many of us that's still a hard pill to swallow, but I must say it's a real relief for me and I'm very grateful for the new diagnosis.

I know others on the board have asked why they should bother with the NCV tests, and while it's just a tool, this is the third round of tests for me and seeing the improvement over 18 months is very heartening, even if my feet are currently on fire.

Default Yay!

So glad to hear that! That must have been a long and scary 18 months. I'm glad it's "just" SFPN.

Congrats, get yourself some supplements to help with that burning and adjust your diet accordingly.
