Wink

Ditto for me! Thank you Cliffman.

I managed to stumble over my feet and fall up the stairs a few days ago and I am still bruised up and sore. My knees and toes are still hurting and my right shoulder which was not good to begin with are still hurting too.

But my walking stick managed to protect my fall somewhat, and I didn't hit my head (small blessings).

It is a pretty day today, and last evening our hummingbird made an appearance, so I will be outside working on my tray of seedlings. They need to be moved up to bigger pots, before they go to their new homes.

Moe, our groundhog has been out already today. And our two ducks, Mr. and Mrs. Quack Quack are roosting in our yard as well. A late cold spring, but we still have our regulars to keep track of.

They like our little fountain, and Mrs. Quack Quack especially sits in it every evening. I think she is cooling her internal eggs a bit.
As soon as she hatches her ducklings, they stay in the creek across the street from us.

Maybe we'll get a carryout from Panera tonight.

Default Ditto for me too!

I had a difficult time this morning as my son has moved away and my mother passed many years ago. Around 11:00am I decided to snap out of it and make the most of a beautiful day. I went to an open air shopping area that also has a farmer's market on Sunday and spent the last 3 hours leisurely walking, sitting and chatting with people. I completely threw caution to the wind by stopping at the Godiva shop for a treat when I got there and once again before I left.

Happy Mother's Day everyone

MrsD I am sorry to hear you fell and hope you heal quickly.

Oh Pinkynose,

I had very similar feelings and a similar day. My son is in from LA, and I haven't yet seen him because he's working so hard (9-9...my waking hours). He said he could get two hours off for MD (!), but as someone in the New York Times wrote today: "Mother's Day brunch in NYC is a cross between jury duty, the DMV, and standing on a subway platform at rush hour."

Let's throw in dysautonomia for the hell of it. So I asked to meet tomorrow...and he's off! I also miss my mother, whom I cared for in her last years.

But like you, I psyched myself up and shopped (among the flowers at Home Depot!) and had sushi with my husband...a lot of activity for POTSY me. Made it through... Which is great....hopefully a good omen for tomorrow.

So I'm glad we each managed a decent day....and my best to you Mrs. D.!

PS....readers...I talked my neuro into an interesting test....more later on a dedicated thread!
