Default B12 results

Hello all,
I just got my results on some blood tests I had taken the other day. They were checking to see if I had any cancer floating around in my blood, and while they were doing that, I had them do a B12 test also. Well, good news on both. No signs of cancer, about a 1 1/2 cancer free now.
On the B12 there was a reading of 987. Stopped taking a week before the test. The last time I had a reading was more than a year or so ago and it was 286. With the knowledge of folks here I started taking 5000mcg a day. My feet are no longer numb and tingle. I have feeling in them again. I can't bend my toes yet, but hopefully in time that will improve. I have only been taking the pills for 6 months. My balance is still shot and I still walk flatfooted. But as my favorite saying goes... it could always be worse.
