Possum, usually a deep purple place means an area of pressure that can become a pressure sore. Check all your shoes, see if you can figure out if anything is causing it.

Shoes and orthotics were both checked after I found the spot...didn't find anything. The only other thing I thought about was maybe there was something stuck to my sock but it had been washed so couldn't check it.

Dr office didn't call back Fri like I thought they would. This is making me more cognizant of how much I *don't* feel. Thanks for the input!

Default Hi rina

Hi rina and welcome

I am sorry you have PN like so many of us. It would however be useful to the “experts” here to learn more about your condition and the tests you presumably have had.

Please just tell us all you can and I know you will soon find many people with experience will come along with the advice and help you are seeking. We are a very compassionate group and I am sure you will soon learn a lot more about your condition with suggestions as to how you can help yourself.

Take care

Tony

Hi Tony and everybody

It start 2 years ago with the feeling of ants walking on my legs. all the tests were OK - NCV and QST, but the parashtesia spread all over my body, with numbness and starnge feelings all over my skin. also - I have pains in my feets that I can't explain, some time they are frosen and the other time they burn. I don't take and medice, but suffer from my new condition. My nerurologist said this might be idiopathic sfsn, but he couldn't prove it yet.
Shall I do skin biopsy?

All the best

Rina
