Default A new research about Tryptase and MCAS/POTS/IBS/EDS /Fibro/CFS

A new research was recently published in Nature Genetics about duplication and triplications of alpha tryptaseâ encoding sequence and it's association with elevated serum tryptase levels, and dysautonomia, GI symptoms, chronic pain, etc.

One Gene Many Disorders: Genetic Finding Could Help Explain POTS, EDS, IBS, FM, ME/CFS and Others | Health Rising's Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME/CFS) and Fibromyalgia Forums

The paper:
Elevated basal serum tryptase identifies a multisystem disorder associated with increased TPSAB1 copy number : Nature Genetics : Nature Research

I read this and my genetics results are due back dec 12. Definitely going to ask about this.
