Cool Smirk A little confused...

..like Brian I dont understand why you are taking 800 mg of Metformin when you state that your glucose levels were normal. Also , did your neuropathy begin coincidental with the start of your Metformin? Have you had any hypoglycemic episodes? Rapid glycemic lowering can sometimes trigger neuropathy and this is why I am so curious. Whatever the case , seven years of being treated as Diabetic Neuropathy when your're not diabetic is strange to say the least. Many GP's are quick to ascribe practically any symptom to Diabetes once you have the label Diabetic, but from your post it sounds as if your glucose levels are normal.
